In the last few weeks many aspects of our normal life have been turned completely upside down. We are all trying to come to terms with how the global pandemic has reshaped our world. For small businesses, like ours, that means trying to serve our customers and be there for them, while taking steps to keep everyone healthy and safe. Striking a balance between the safety of our team and customers while being able to keep our doors open is one that we’ve been working on over the last few weeks. And while it’s true we’ve never seen anything like this, our 80+ years in business has given us the experience needed to make sure we can we be there for our customers, no matter the situation. Below are the options Better Housekeeping Shop has put in place to continue to serve our customers in this unprecedented time.
In-Store
If you’re feeling well and wish to come to our store, we’d love to see you! Rest assured, we are taking all the necessary steps to keep you safe. Following all the safety recommendations from the CDC, we have implemented extra cleaning measures inside our store, including additional sanitizing of all high-traffic surfaces such as knobs, countertops, appliances, and restrooms. We’re also limiting the number of people allowed in the showroom, to maintain social distancing. Our hours remain 8:30-6 Monday through Friday and 8:30-5 on Saturday, but feel free to call the store in advance of your arrival if you wish to confirm.
Online
Our website remains open 24/7! Browse our online shop from the comfort of your home. We have a huge selection of products for you to view, many of which can be purchased directly from our site. As you browse online, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We are here for you and would love to help answer questions, provide expert advice, and work with you to find the right appliance for your home.
Over the Phone
We are more than happy to answer questions, discuss your appliance needs, and provide expert advice over the phone. We can even do virtual showroom tours! Give us a call, 732-741-4310. We’ll work with you to help you find the appliance you’re looking for.

Delivery & Service
While we may be in a state-mandated quarantine, a broken dishwasher or washing machine doesn’t understand that. If your appliances are in need of service or repair, we are here for you. Our delivery and service teams are working, while practicing social distancing and making safety a top priority at all times. Feel free to discuss any special requests or instructions when we confirm your appointment.
