More 2019 Kitchen Trends You’ll Want to Know About

Two of the most well-known and popular appliance brands, Sub-Zero and Wolf have just debuted, along with the company’s new line Cove, a few of their new products at the 2019 Architectural Digest Design Show, held in New York City late last month.  Whether it’s a Sub-Zero refrigerator, a Wolf range, or any of the other appliance in their lineup these are perennially popular items at Better Housekeeping Shop and brands that our customers are always interested in.  We’re certain these latest products and the technology introduced with them will be no exception.

One of the reasons we believe these brands are so beloved amongst our customers is the versatility they offer in a range of kitchen designs and needs.  Jim Bakke, president and CEO of Sub-Zero Group echoed that sentiment recently, saying, “We understand there is no one-size-fits-all solution when it comes to kitchen appliances.  Our latest innovations demonstrate our commitment to purposeful design through versatile appliances that transform to the individual needs of the cook and ultimately deliver optimal cooking results.”

The Sub-Zero PRO, the line’s most iconic design will now be available in 36” which, combined with a new sliding glass shelf, will create more space for food and storage options.  New LED lighting will provide an even brighter interior and the PRO will also offer a stainless-steel interior for a more “luxurious look.”

For the professional or amateur cook, Wolf’s new 48” sealed burner range-top now includes a wok burner, allowing for any type of cooking.  According to the details we’ve received, the four dual-stacked, sealed burners allow you to “simmer, sear and melt without scorching – while the wok burner (one of Wolf’s most powerful burners), concentrates flames in exactly the right spot for quick, delicious authentic wok cooking from traditional stir fry to popcorn.”

And along with the range is Wolf’s new 30” speed oven, which combines the power of microwave, convection, and broil technologies into one appliance.  The new speed oven will not only offer a variety of cooking options in less time, but by essentially being a 3-in-1 appliance, it could free up valuable space in the kitchen.

And finally Cove, the newest brand to come from the Sub-Zero brand, which seeks to reinvent the dishwasher by solving “common pain points for customers, including cleanliness, loading flexibility, drying quality, and noise minimization.”  With the launch of Cove, the company will also roll out a host of new technology and features across all of its lines.  These include the ability to remotely operate appliances – control temperatures, select oven modes and wash cycles, and automatically restock food and grocery items through the Amazon Dash Replenishment Service – directly from the Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove apps.  And fear not, we’re told connectivity kits will also be available to retrofit current Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances to utilize these features!
